At the outset, I apologise to Shri Akhter for deleting his lengthy comments in our blogs.
Reasons: 1. They have at places, abusive or hatred provoking content.
2. I felt that he has not written his comments applying his own intellect. He seems to have "copy and pasted" his very lengthy comments running into many pages, without typing it or reading it or checking it. I appeal to my Readers not to use copy paste method.
3. From the comments of Shri Akhter, I perceived that he has tried to canvass for his religion Islam. There is difference between explaining the merits of one's own religion, and canvassing. CANVASSING TAKES PLACE WITH DELIBERATE PURPOSE. Explaining merits arises in specific contexts and situations.
4. Some of his criticisms appear to have been made without deeply going through facts. For example, he mentioned about pornography in Ramayana. Had he studied Valmiki Ramayana carefully and without bias he could have found that there are no pornographic verses in Valmiki Ramayana, hard or soft. Here and there, there are some minor vocabulary and diction selection inconsistencies which might have inadvertantly taken place, but there is no porno. I suggest that Mr. Akhter may read my blog ramayanayb.blogspot.com which has nearly 200 pieces of articles researched by me. If he does so, most of his doubts will get cleared.
I made a mistake. Before deleting the comments of Shri Akhter, I did not copy them to my laptop for deeper studies and writing replies. However, I now request Shri Akhter to write short comments and raise short questions, which I shall try to reply, to the best of my belief and abilities.
For that criticism, I have already given my explanation: First a person sweeps and cleans his own living room. Then, he cleans other rooms in his house. Thereafter, he cleans vacant spaces, sit-outs, etc. in the compound. Later, he will clean the road in front of his house. So, our basic ethical duty is to worry about defects and faults in our own home (here, religion or culture).
Applying the above analogy, we do not first go to neighbors and offer to identify dirty places in their houses, and clean them. We do not offer to clean their streets first. That will be absurd. Giving them help when they request us for help, is a different thing.
Using this analogy, I appeal to Shri Akhter, to try to clean his house i.e. his religion Islam, first, before he can blast Hinduism. When he starts criticising Islam, he may have to be very cautious, because the Religious Elders in his own religion may not tolerate him. He can see how Bangla Desh dealt with the critic Ms. Taslima Nasreen. Fatwas will be issued against him.
Baltic Aryans and Iranian Aryans, Greeko-Macedonian Aryans who migrated/invaded India brought with them their Racialism. They were Europeans or West Asians, and aliens. They created the system of treating people who were defeated in battles as 'outcasts' and did not allow them to stay inside Aryan villages. This outrageous practice could not be corrected because the subsequent invaders-cum-rulers Arabs, Turks, Mongols/Moghuls, British, French, Portugues, Dutch were not interested in Hinduism Reforms. They were more interested in converting Hindus into Christianity and Islam forcibly or through inducements such as jobs, agrl. lands, They instigated Caste hatred and Caste Wars because they liked to DIVIDE AND RULE. Anybody who visits old Hindu Temples in India can see many idols WITHOUT THEIR HEADS OR HANDS, because Muslim Rulers encouraged their soldiers to break Hindu idols. Some such idols can be seen in Museums also.
Most of the Muslims in India, Pakisthan, Bangla Desh today, had Hindu Ancestors converted between 1000 AD and 1947 AD, who were forcibly converted into Islam. Similarly, in places like Goa, we can see large number of Christians who have Hindu Ancestors who were forcibly converted or, converted through inducements of jobs, lands etc. It is high time for all of them to come back Home, i.e. to the fold of Hinduism. As I have already said it is not a religion. It is a culture. In Hinduism, people can worship other Gods and Goddesses also. They can go to mosques, churches, dargas. Examples: Gunadala Mary Mata Temple, Vijayawada is as popular as other Hindu Temples in Vijayawada. This is because, there is freedom for Hindus to go anywhere they want. But Christian Pastors and Islamic Clerics do not allow the followers of their Religions to visit Indian Temples. Hinduism Reforms are necessary to facilitate 'ghar vApsi' (Returning Home i.e. back to Hindu/Indian culture), so that Indian can emerge as a more Unified Nation.
ybrao-a-donkey's Answer: I re-confirm that I am an atheist. But I cannot expect 1.3 billion Indians to be come atheists. That is a great dream. If people become atheists, their burdens and obligations will be reduced. Their expenses will be reduced. Atheists who were Hindus in the past, after becoming atheists can mingle freely with people of other religions, because there is no love of one's own religion and hate of religions of others.
If it really happens, all the Preachers of all Religions will have to 'share manual labor' along with other Working Class people. All prayer-houses can be converted into paddy and wheat godowns.
I have already said that Hinduism is a culture and not a religion. Religions have their authority structures like Popes, Arch Bishops, Bishops, Khalifa, Bada Imam, Chota Imam etc., with Hierarchies of Formal Authority. For example, Catholic Bishops in India are appointed and removed by Pope from Italy. Hinduism does not have such Formal Authorities. Monks, Monasteries heads i.e. maTHAdhipatis, Shankaracharyas, Swamijis, are not Heads for Hinduism (IT IS A DIFFERENT THING THAT THEY MAKE SUCH CLAIMS). In other words there is NO BOSSISM in Hinduism. Of late, some Ruling Party Workers, MLAs, MPs are behaving and talking as though they are bosses for Hindus. There can be NO such bosses. If such Authority structures are needed, then Elections will have to be held from village level to country level, with Government Officials as Returning, Polling, Counting Officers. Such elections will have to be subject to Judicial Reviews.
A collector / a Chief Minister or / a Home Minister /a DGP who talks to a Shankaracharya or an Imam or a Bishop, ought not to think that heshethey spoke to Representatives of the respective Religions. Religious preachers have no business to represent the followers of their Religions. The Preachers, Pastors, Imams etc. are guards for their own Prayer Houses. They cannot interfere with human rights.
I reserve my right to make further additions / deletions / corrections, in the views expressed by me herein.

IMPORTANT
I have about 92 blogs on Internet. Some of my readers have questioned me: "Why do you always criticise Hinduism? Why don't you criticise other religions particularly Christianity and Islam" ?For that criticism, I have already given my explanation: First a person sweeps and cleans his own living room. Then, he cleans other rooms in his house. Thereafter, he cleans vacant spaces, sit-outs, etc. in the compound. Later, he will clean the road in front of his house. So, our basic ethical duty is to worry about defects and faults in our own home (here, religion or culture).

HINDUISM IS NOT A RELIGION, like Christianity or Islam
Christianity and Islam are religions 'founded' by 'one prophet'. Hinduism has not been formulated by one person. Hinduism is a COMPOSITE CULTURE of different people of different regions believing / worshipping Gods with different names. It is a COMPOUND FRUIT like Anona Squimoza (sitA phal).Baltic Aryans and Iranian Aryans, Greeko-Macedonian Aryans who migrated/invaded India brought with them their Racialism. They were Europeans or West Asians, and aliens. They created the system of treating people who were defeated in battles as 'outcasts' and did not allow them to stay inside Aryan villages. Question: You claim that you are an Atheist and Marxist. Then, how can you support 'ghar vApsi'?

Question: You say that you are a Marxist. Marx said that religion is opium. Then, how can you support 'ghar vApsi'?
Ans: If all the 1.3 billion people on their own volition and research, intellectual development, become Marxists and treat religion as opium, it will be a great dream fulfilled. I can die with a very very peaceful mind. There will be no need for me to write these donkey-like blog posts at this odd hour of 12.25 a.m.If it really happens, all the Preachers of all Religions will have to 'share manual labor' along with other Working Class people. All prayer-houses can be converted into paddy and wheat godowns.
