HH Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji does not leave out opportunities to bash TTD

His Holiness Sri Sri Sri Tridandi Srimannarayana Ramanuja Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji -- name as per the website of Shri Chinnajeeyar.

Self-declared as Crusader of Peace.

I am not sure whether the respected Swamiji is the Crusader of Peace of Tirumala, or Peace of Andhra Pradesh, or Peace of India or Peace of the World.

He seems to nurse a firm personal belief that restoration of the 1000 pillared temple is the pre-requisite for peace at Tirumala, peace in the State of Andhra Pradesh, Peace for India, and Peace for the whole world. He need not hurry.

He will raise his hand and direct his index finger towards the TTD and the demolished canpoy, even if there is the slightest disturbance in the State.

He has become an Achilles heel for the TTD.

I have tried to catch up what he exactly has in his mind. But could not succeed. According to one TV channel, his ire against the TTD is to extract an award of a construction contract for his disciple. The channel did not mention who the disciple is or the name of his Construction Company. Truth will come out only when some dissatisfied person in his Camp spill the beans. In the meantime, we cannot attribute any blame to him.

I have seen him on TV a few days back. His tone and language, somehow, sounded 'rAjasa' (a sort of regal arrogance and flamboyance - a quality present in persons engaged in worldly affairs.). Monks are normally expected to be sAtvik. (Readers may please refer to the three quality delineation given in Bhagavad Gita). bhagavadgitayb.blogspot.com). Satvik refers to gentleness and suasiveness in thought, speech and action.

rajas (flamboyance and arrogance) arises when a person continuously yokes himself to the kings and the wealth. Swamiji specialises in laying foundation stones, inaugurations, blessings (mangaLASAsanams) and sacrificial yagnams and yAgams in the premises of Private Colleges, Hospitals, Housing Ventures, Residential Plot Colonies etc. Some hobnob takes place.

We have a proverb in Telugu language. If two persons mix up as friends for SIX MONTHS, the two persons exchange their qualities, without even knowing that something was happening to them. If a sAtvika makes friendship with a rAjasika, S becomes R and , R becomes S.

I personally feel that Mr. Jeeyar will do greater good to the cause of geographical Hinduism, if he can reduce his hobnobbing with business persons. St. thyAgarAja called this 'rAjasa tAmasa guNamulu galavAri celimi' (the friendship of those who have the worldly qualities). (rAjas= red color or superbia) and ignorant (tamas=darkness).
