IAS Officers should look into mirrors frequently

The TTD E.O. threatened that he would cut the salaries of the singers who were singing some popular Annamacharya kirtanas like KonDala lO nelakonna! He could have requested them gently to sing some new rare songs of Annamacharya. Why threaten?

The occasion was pAru vETA in which the Chief Priest Ramana dIkshitulu and others enacting the hunting festival (pAru vETa).
Prima facie it may appear as some fun for the God and his assistants (priests and the officials). Whoever had started the pAru vETA (hunting expedition) for the God lacked elementary philosophical insight that God, if at all he exists, should be compassionate. By creating cruel wild animals, to devor on the innocent grass-eating docile animals like deer and buffalos, God proved that he lacked heart and imagination. By creating a hunting expedition for the God, his assistants proved that they were foolish.

This festival, the TTD has been arranging for several decades without ever thinking that God cannot be a hunter, just like an ordinary human. Particularly, he cannot hunt in the 21st Century. The E.O. should have thought of some new ideas. He might not have been discontinue the old festival. But , he could have added something new. Instead he released his ire on the poor singers. It is the I.A.s. Officers who work as E.O. who lack creativity and not the poor singers.
